Training, Experience and Qualifications

My Training

I am in my final year of a four-year intensive training in counseling and psychotherapy. My training is an integrative training. The strange word means that it draws from number of psychotherapeutic schools to help me work with the past, the present and the future. These schools include psychodynamic, humanistic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) traditions of psychotherapy. At the heart of this training is the belief in the relationship you and I can create together to help you manage your life and the things that trouble you better. As a counselor and psychotherapist in training, I offer integrative counseling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment, in which you can talk about whatever you want, explore your experiences and discuss your problems and difficulties.

My Experience

I have significant experience of working with adults and young people’s long term and short term therapy and working with a wide range of presenting problems.

I am due to complete my formal training in July 2010 and upon completion of the final pieces of work to be done, I will be UKCP registered integrative psychotherapist and have Master of Science in this discipline.
I abide by the UKCP guidelines for ethical and professional conduct.
